  • Contract Length: 3-6 months (ongoing)
  • Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm (30-minute break)

Your Role & Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Trials Pharmacist, you will play a key role in the management and delivery of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting the advancement of innovative treatments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the set-up, dispensing, and management of investigational medicinal products (IMPs)
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and MHRA regulations
  • Collaborating with research teams, sponsors, and clinicians to ensure smooth trial operations
  • Providing expert pharmaceutical advice on trial protocols and medication safety
  • Managing trial documentation, drug accountability, and audit readiness
  • Training and supporting pharmacy staff involved in clinical trials

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • GPhC registration (active and in good standing)
  • Previous experience in clinical trials or investigational medicines
  • A strong understanding of GCP, MHRA, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
