Technical Account Manager (Food Manufacturing) - London

We're looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join our client, a leading and highly regarded international regulatory partner. You would play a key role as part of a dynamic business providing the food industry with world-class regulatory, product information and compliance mentoring, guidance and support.

The role will suit skilled and confident Account Managers with a background in the Food/Beverage manufacturing sector, or FMCG, where you have interfaced, liaised and supported Clients in the following capacities - account management or Technical/NPD/Process Development/Launch or new business projects facilitation.

Offering an attractive salary up to £35,000 this is full time role on a fixed term 12 month contract, home-based with all of the benefits that come with home working.

The Role

Collaborating closely with high profile clients, you will be accountable for the successful direction and progression of all products through the correct route and for the success of the specification, pack copy and artwork approval processes.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for day to day service delivery to the Client, providing support to internal teams.

Key responsibilities; - Service delivery to the Client, internal and external stakeholder management
  • Project management; capacity, capabilities and facilitating the client's priorities
  • Building robust and cohesive relationships along the way
  • Compilation of performance and status reporting
  • Managing client feedback and handling challenging conversations with all stakeholders

About You

You must have experience in a similar Account Manager/ Project Management role in the Food/Beverage manufacturing sector, or FMCG. Account management or Technical/NPD/Process Development/Launch or new business projects facilitation skills all ideal.

You'll be a great collaborator, approachable, proactive, highly organised and thrive in a pacey environment with a track record of project/service delivery. A highly effective communicator and effective deliverer, you will be an effective communicator in a friendly and straightforward manner, prioritizing your own workloads to meet tight deadlines.

You should excel at developing professional client relationships, ensuring the needs of the clients are always met.

Ability to work effectively independently is essential. If you have interests in anything or everything food and food legislation, this would be hugely advantageous.
