Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care and support to individuals with mental health conditions in a hospital or clinical setting.
Conduct thorough assessments of patient mental health status, including risk assessments and care planning.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists or healthcare providers.
Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatment and interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement holistic care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

Requirements: Valid registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience working as an RMN in a psychiatric or mental health setting is preferred.

Must have 6 months paid work experience
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and colleagues.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Must be a UK resident and have the right to work in the UK
