We are looking for a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator who will be responsible for arranging assessments, screening and access arrangements, and manage an exceptional team of specialist teachers.

The post-holder should:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • OCR 5 or 7 accreditation
  • Secure knowledge and understanding of excellent primary practice
  • A deep commitment to child-centred education and to the ethos of the school
  • Ability to organise, prioritise. plan ahead and coordinate a variety of tasks and procedures
  • Effective and proven communication skills. The job involves a significant amount of formal and informal contact with parents, students, and colleagues.
  • High personal standards in creating and developing professional relationships with colleagues, parents and pupils and other professionals. A commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
