Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional patient service in a buzzing hospital setting? Our Maternity team are looking for a Ward Clerk to join their vibrant team at Queen Charlotte's Hospital.
This rewarding, patient-facing role puts you at the heart of our ward, supporting expectant parents during some of the most significant and vulnerable moments of their lives. You’ll provide essential administrative support, manage patient records, coordinate admissions and discharges, and handle enquiries sensitively and professionally.Strong organisational skills, empathy, and excellent interpersonal abilities are vital to succeed within this role.
You'll thrive in this position if you're adaptable to shift work covering both day and night shifts (8am–8pm / 8pm–8am) throughout the week, including weekends. Please note, this role requires full on-site presence with no hybrid working.
Previous clerical experience, particularly within healthcare, would be advantageous but is not essential. We offer thorough training, a supportive environment, and an opportunity to genuinely impact patient care.
