Are you passionate about assisting the chef to provide nutritious meals for young children? As a Kitchen Assistant at Busy Bees, you’ll be a key part of our kitchen team, supporting the chef in the day to day running of the kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where you will contribute to the wellbeing of children while gaining valuable experience in catering within the early years sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure kitchen inventory is well-maintained and assist with ordering and stock management.
Support meal preparation and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Overseeing the running of the kitchen in the chefs absence.

About our Nursery

Busy Bees in Glasgow Lenzie, is a brand-new, state-of-the-art nursery! This newly built, two-storey nursery has five age specific rooms that are well equipped for children aged from 3 months to 5 years old. With 90 available spaces, Busy Bees Lenzie offers a bright and airy space for children to grow and learn.

Our wonderful team of passionate qualified early years educators support children throughout their developmental journey, giving them the best start in life!
