We are a recruitment and employment agency and we are currently looking for trustworthy and reliable candidates for the position of Care Assistant. We cooperate with West Lothian Council Care Homes and private Care Homes located in West Lothian within the social care sector.

We are seeking enthusiastic people, who are flexible and willing to undertake delegated tasks as a part of a team offering a high level of support to elderly people.

SVQ in Care (level 2 or 3) and the Manual and Handling Certificate are preferred but not essential. Previous experience and good communication skills are required.

This post considers:

Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act.2007.

Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme and SSSC Registration. The successful candidates will be subject to a criminal records check provided by Disclosure Scotland.

You will get flexible hour rates (from £12.80 to £28.80 per hour) as well as flexible hours of work depending on your experience and circumstances.
