Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a large secondary school in Croydon. This role is crucial in helping students manage their behaviour, stay engaged in learning, and develop positive coping strategies.

• Provide 1:1 mentoring and small group support to students experiencing behavioural challenges
• Work closely with teachers to help maintain engagement and positive behaviour in lessons
• Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, helping them develop confidence and resilience
• Supervise inclusion rooms and reflection spaces, ensuring a structured and supportive environment
• Assist with behaviour intervention strategies to promote positive decision-making and emotional regulation
• Work alongside pastoral staff, Heads of Year, and external agencies to provide well-rounded student support
• Previous experience in behaviour support, mentoring, or pastoral roles in a secondary school setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and ability to de-escalate challenging situations
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students
• Ability to engage and motivate students with a proactive attitude
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
• Full-time role, Monday to Friday
• Paid up to £125 per day, term time only
• Based in Croydon, London, with excellent transport links
• Immediate start, with potential for a long-term placement
