Maths Teacher
Step Teachers are looking for a talented and passionate Maths Teacher to join a lively Secondary School in Haringey on a supply basis beginning in January 2025. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Maths Teacher looking to make a significant difference in a forward-thinking school community.
Maths Teacher – Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students across various year groups.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the UK Mathematics curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and confidence in Maths.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices across the Maths department.
Maths Teacher – Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Maths Teacher at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the UK Mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and enhancing teaching practices.
- Enhanced DBS.
