Youth Worker (school based)

• Individual Support: Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with specific social and emotional needs, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and positive relationships.
• Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement individual support plans and strategies.
• Nurturing Environment: Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging space for learning and personal growth.
• Flexible Hours: Full-time or part-time hours available to suit the right candidate.
• Experience working with children, ideally in education, child counselling, youth work, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with children and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of pupils with social and emotional challenges.
• A willingness to learn and implement strategies to support special educational needs (SEN).
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. , TA, counselling, or youth work certificates) are desirable but not essential.
