Job Ref AG GI: PA with physiotherapy experience to support young girl with Arthrogryposis
I’m a father of a 9 years old girl with Arthrogryposis. My daughter’s mind is perfectly healthy, her disabilities restrict movement in her arms and legs.
I’m looking for personal assistant in her physiotherapy and personal and social tasks.
The closing date for completed applications is 18/1/25
3 hours per week:Monday: 3.30-4.30pm
Wednesday: 3.30-4.30pm
Friday: 1pm-2pm
Once a month (last Friday of Month) 2 hours taking my daughter to shopping centre. Transport will be provided there and back
Rate of pay £13.83
Description of job
Mainly performing the 7 physio routine exercises.Training will be provided by St John’s Physiotherapist
Person specificationI’m looking for someone who has experience of working with children and Physiotherapy
An ideal post-holder would be someone who is compassionate, friendly, calm and patient with a good sense of humour. Driver – desirable but not essential. Qualifications not essential. Would be required to have a PVG membership.
This is a good opportunity for someone who is learning to be a physiotherapist
