Join our client, a rapidly growing online fashion retailer based in Manchester, as a Senior Assistant Buyer! This dynamic and fashion-forward role offers an opportunity to contribute to our brand's fast fashion ethos and play a key role in range building, trend analysis, negotiation, and supplier management.
JOB TITLE: Assistant BuyerCOMPANY: Fashion
CONTRACT: Permanent
SALARY: ideally up to £29,000, can be flexible for the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly range building, ensuring exciting and on-trend drops.
- Help develop and execute buying strategies aligned with our brand's ethos.
- Participate in fit sessions and take detailed notes.
- Negotiate prices and delivery timeframes with suppliers.
- Analyse consumer buying patterns and predict future trends.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, while actively seeking new ones.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a buying role within the fast fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of the latest fashion trends and market demands.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in budget management and merchandising.
- Familiarity with MS Office and relevant software.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of up to £29,000 per annum, based on experience.
- Full-time position with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
