Your new role
Your key duties will involve ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority Accounts Rules, supporting the use and operation of the firm accounting systems, along with ensuring all banking is completed daily. You will support with the posting of bills and authorising of invoices, liaise directly with the clients when receiving payments and support the operations of the department's credit control system.You will manage petty cash procedures, manage your own work allocation and productivity, and be involved in ad-hoc duties and projects for senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this hands-on Legal Cashier role you will need experience within a similar position, proven experience within a Law firm in a legal cashier role with knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules. You will have the ability to adapt to business needs, willing to learn, with knowledge of legal accounting systems and MS excel.Strong communication skills to build both internal/external relationships at all levels, used to managing your own workloads and meeting deadlines. You will be used to a fast-paced environment with key problem-solving skills. Experience with conveyancing law and knowledge of LEAP and Xero would be advantageous but not essential.

This permanent Legal Cashier role offers a competitive salary between £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependable on experience based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.
