Unilabs is currently seeking a Senior Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the specimen reception areaand support the delivery of high-quality patient care.This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently
- Process and handle specimens following standard operating procedures
- Maintain accurate records of test results and data
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Assist in the training and supervision of other laboratory assistants
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality assurance protocols
- Participate in continuing education and stay updated on laboratory practices and procedures
Requirements
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computer systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality
