Our friendly Estates and Facilities Team at St Martin's , Canterbury are seeking a part time Domestic Assistant, apply now and kickstart your career in the NHS.

Domestic Assistant Benefits- Annual leave allowance starting at 27 days per year (when working full time) + Bank Holiday’s.

- The daily shift plan is completed in the agreed time scale and hygiene standards are met.

- To complete departmental performance monitoring weekly, to achieve and maintain the Trust standard.
- To ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the Trust waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safety
standards are adhered to.

Essential
Essential criteria- previous knowledge and experience of working in a previous role
- Ability to work shift times and patterns
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Knowledge of cleaning guidelines
- Flexible approach to duties.
- Previous Hotel Services experience
- NHS experience
Training, Qualifications and Registration
Essential criteria- Knowledge of Coshh related products
- English and mathematics Level 1
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to cover work colleges
- NVQ level 2 in cleaning - training will be given
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria- Deal appropriately with Service Users, staff and the general public
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
