Our client in Redditch is looking for expand their Accounts team by recruiting an Accounts Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to develop your existing accounts skills as you will be assisting the accounts department to perform daily transactions, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and CIS processing.

Accounts Administrator key day to day duties:-
  • Assisting the Accounts team with maintaining the company invoice system
  • Inputting supplier invoices ensuring accuracy and correct formatting
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Monitoring and maintaining the accounts email inbox
  • Assisting and processing supplier payments
  • Supporting with month end accounts
  • Processing weekly invoices and helping resolve related queries
  • Processing CIS payments and updating relevant systems
  • Processing and maintaining the subcontractor ledger – ensuring payments are up to date and liaising with other departments
  • Producing sales ledger invoices and chasing for payments
  • Producing weekly hire invoices
The successful Accounts Administrator will have the following skills and experience:-
Accounting qualification is desirable but not essential
Proficient with MS office software ( word / excel)
Previous experience within a purchase ledger / accounts administration

Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices is advantageous

We are looking for someone who can multi task and b able to demonstrate methodical attention to detail skills. You will also need to be confident and be able to build long term external relationships and be able to communicate across all business levels.

In return you can expect to receive a basis salary of circa £24,000 and the hours of work are 8-4pm Monday to Friday and this is an office based role with free parking.
