Our client, a reputable academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Maths lessons to a diverse group of students, encouraging them to develop a love for the subject and excel academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5).
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.
- Foster a positive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSEs, through focused teaching and revision sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Maths curriculum.
- Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and staff to support student well-being and academic success.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
