Occupational Therapist | West London NHS Trust
The post holder will work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team with the opportunity to grow and develop the OT role. We offer regular supervision and training for all our staff along with regular PDR’s. The OT’s are part of a wider AHP team within West London NHS Trust and are given the opportunity to link in and network with peers, AHP Forum and regular training and events.
- To provide a client-centred occupational therapy service to a defined caseload of service users with complex needs, within the local services working with multi-disciplinary team members and the occupational therapy team.
- To actively develop and implement a framework of care, which reflects a holistic approach to service user needs, and the seven pillars of clinical governance.
- To work under the supervision of a senior or professional lead/head occupational therapist, to apply clinical skills in occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning, intervention and evaluation, which include individual and group orientated approaches.
- To contribute to the evaluation and continued development of the occupational therapy service, as well as taking responsibility for the direct supervision of less clinically experienced qualified staff, support staff and occupational therapy students.
