We are currently looking for a HR Specialist who shares our purpose and vision to join our global team to implement our HR transformation strategy and people plans, whilst providing commercial advice on people issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the HR strategy and transformation plan as we move to a technology enabled global operating model, driving and supporting changes in leadership and line management behaviours.
  • Establish and maintain effective influencing relationships with line managers to challenge and coach them to develop and demonstrate effective leadership and management behaviours across all areas of people management.
  • Case management of medium to complex Employee Relations.
  • Ensure all people activities are delivered effectively, professionally and within required timescales.
  • Support the delivery of business change through restructuring, redundancy and/or TUPE activities.
  • Deliver HR activities as appropriate for any merger, acquisition and lateral hire activities to ensure effective integration of new people.
  • Work with HR Business Partners to support the delivery of annual people processes e.g. performance review process, succession planning and talent management, budgeting and salary review.
  • Proactively identify and exploit opportunities both internal and external to the organisation to raise the profile of the HR team.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

Essential
  • Experience managing complex ER cases
  • Up to date knowledge of HR related legislation and changes in employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business, with a proven ability to influence, develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Commercial mindset, able to think strategically and promote ideas that contribute to the overall success of the business
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a HR specialist role within Legal services
  • Experience operating within a matrix structured organisation
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
