This position reports to
Service Manager
Your role and responsibilities
You’ll manage a team of highly skilled mechanical and electrical field service engineers working on our drives and motors portfolio at customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas. Our customers range from automotive wind tunnels to wind turbine generations and papermills to steel plants.You’ll be crucial in delivering the premium service our customers expect.
Responsibilities will include:- Managing day-to-day operations to meet customer demands
- Overseeing large shutdowns and complex projects throughout the planning, execution and delivery phases engaging with stakeholders as required.
- Supervise, support and develop field service engineers to increase their technical competency
- Identify improvement opportunities to provide efficiencies, cost savings and improved customer experience
- Develop and implement quality control processes to maintain consistently high standards of work
- Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with customers and area sales managers, acting as a point of contact for concerns and escalations.
- Driving continual improvement and cultural development in health, safety and environmental performance
- - Field Service experience in Electrical Engineering is essential

- - Previous experience working with Motors and Generators or Variable Speed Drives
