Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey. The role involves providing support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them achieve their full potential.
Job Duties:
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs
- Deliver tailored lessons and educational activities
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' learning
- Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Understanding of SEN support strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
Education:
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
Experience:
Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures
- Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
- Strong observational and assessment skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs
Working Conditions:
This role is part-time, with flexible hours. The work will involve interacting with students, parents, and other professionals in an educational setting.
