Assistant to the Executive and Artistic Director
Prospectus is delighted to partner with a leading and innovative London-based theatre in its search for a temporary Assistant to the Executive and Artistic Director. This pivotal role will provide essential support to the organisation’s joint CEOs, ensuring the smooth operation of the Executive Office.
This is a full-time, temporary position (35 hours per week, 10 am–6 pm) requiring five days per week in the theatre’s central London office. The role is set to start as soon as possible for approximately 8–12 weeks.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant to the Executive and Artistic Director will manage the CEOs’ complex diaries, balancing competing priorities to maximise their time effectively. Acting as the first point of contact for the Executive Office, the postholder will play a key role in fostering strong internal and external relationships.
To excel in this role, you will have substantial experience in executive-level support and administration, including complex diary management. Strong relationship-building skills with senior internal and external stakeholders are essential, as are outstanding written and verbal communication skills.A proactive and flexible approach will help you thrive in this fast-paced environment. While a background in the arts or charity sector would be advantageous, it is not essential.
