Following our successful visit from Ofsted, in which we were graded Good in all areas, we are now embarking on our next round of recruitment to ensure the highest standard of quality teaching for our students. We require a forward-thinking Head of Design & Technology to lead and shape a flexible KS3 curriculum and contribute to the delivery of GCSE 3D Design.You will work closely with the Head of Faculty and an experienced Art and Design Technician, playing a key role in developing an inspiring curriculum that engages students in practical, hands-on learning. With the freedom to innovate and tailor your approach, you’ll help bring Design and Technology to life in a school that values creativity, critical thinking, and real-world skills.
Our facilities include a high-spec laser cutter, a fully operational kiln, a class set of sewing machines, a dedicated computer suite and access to a traditional workshop. We also offer a well-established Food Technology provision supported by a second dedicated technician.This is an incredibly exciting time to join Waseley with our state-of-the-art new school which is opening in September.
