We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic team player to work onsite at Yardi’s corporate office to execute maintenance, renovations, and repair, and assist the facilities management with oversight of external contractors.
What you will do
  • Works with commercial real estate brokers for new and expansions to office space.
  • Negotiates terms in letters of intent and leases and working with architects and contractors for space build-outs.
  • Selects, negotiates and coordinates outfitting of new office space including furniture and fixtures
  • Assumes primary contact responsibility for all facilities related vendors (e.g., janitorial/cleaning, security, plumbing, construction, movers, landscaping, food/coffee-service distributors, and office suppliers) and contract negotiation
  • Oversees, plans and coordinates installations and refurbishments including, but not limited to, construction, plumbing, electrical, lighting, elevator, sprinkler systems, furniture installations, and flooring for existing locations, and new construction
  • Oversees and manages office moves, workspace relocations, and workstation repair and upkeep
  • Administers and maintains building security access systems and manages a recall protocol for responding to routine, non-routine, and emergency issues
  • Ensures that assigned facilities are in strict compliance with all local, state and federal standards and that pertain to the established operation, safety, comfort, durability, zoning and environmental standards of the facilities
What you need to have
  • Four-year college degree with experience commensurate with job requirements
  • Four plus (4+) years Facilities/ Office Management experience at Small to large, multi-locations.
  • Basic experience of mechanical systems (i.e. HVAC, lighting, etc.)
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and managing cross functional teams.
  • Experience building and managing teams and designing and implementing effective processes and procedures

  • Proven ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
