Job Description- Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
- Maintain the financial health of the organisation.
- Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.
- Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
The Successful Applicant
The Financial Controller should have:
- A professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Proficient user of finance software.
- A strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills.
- High attention to detail; reliability and dependability.
- A competitive salary in the range of £63,000-£77,500 per annum.
- 25 days of holiday leave.
