About Our Client

A new and very exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join a leading business based in Farnborough. This is a fantastic position for a candidate looking for progression.

• Lead the month-end close process and deliver accurate management accounts to ensure the business receives insightful financial information in a timely manner
• Perform the more technical aspects of month end including complex revenue recognition
• Support the Financial Controller with year-end compliance tasks, including audit and IFRS statutory accounts reviews
• Support the Financial Controller and external tax advisors with tax-related reporting, such as claims, tax credits and VAT returns
• Act as a Finance Business Partner for a selection of our Studios and Head Office teams
• Play a lead role in the annual budgeting and internal forecasting processes
• Support the Head of Finance and Financial Controller with ad hoc queries, analysis and process improvement initiatives

• Experience within a similar role
• Studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical with good attention to detail
