Then we would welcome an application to join our successful and well-established English Department. This permanent position will start on 1 September 2025; we are happy to consider part-time or job-share applications, depending on your situation.

You should be a confident, highly motivated teacher who enjoys delivering outstanding lessons and who is focused on enabling pupils to achieve their very best. If successful, you would teach across the range of age and ability from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 in English and English Literature.

English at Ullswater Community College is a high-achieving department, with many students progressing to study the subject in the sixth form and regularly going on to related courses at university.
