Media Strategy Marketing Manager

Overview:

We need someone who displays a solid strategic thinking and has a deep knowledge of media planning and buying, particularly in digital media.
We need someone who is results driven and has a strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst remaining focused on meeting relevant deadlines.

We need someone who has outstanding presentation skills, and can effectively collaborate, influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

Media strategy

Lead and oversee the development of end-to-end media strategies, together with the Media Director, taking into account local market trends, competitive activity, and consumer behaviour.

Lead and represent media considerations when briefing agencies on new comms projects, addressing questions as appropriate and steering agencies as and when needed.

Represent Nomad Foods in relevant fora with internal/external stakeholders requiring strategic media input.

Stay up-to-date with emerging media trends and technologies to enhance Nomad Foods’ media ambition and agenda.

Media partnerships

Manage Nomad’s relationship with key media owners such as Google, Meta or TikTok, with the support of the Media Director, in order to develop beneficial commercial returns and learning opportunities, as well as securing access to alpha/beta features for our business.

Media guidelines

Coordinate via our media agency, Publicis, the development and implementation of Nomad Foods -specific media guidelines, including social media, programmatic, e-retail media, influencer marketing, SEM and SEO.

Be the main voice within the Media team ensuring that all campaign toolkits are fully aligned with our media guidelines, swiftly liaising with Brand Campaign colleagues and external agencies.

Improved media impact

Lead the media actionability of learnings emanating from MMM studies, in coordination with the Media Manager for Performance and Effectiveness, ultimately striving at improving media impact on the short and long term.

Be responsible for the definition and regular review of our brands’ target audiences, and the best touchpoints to reach them, as per business objectives, in collaboration with the Insights team.

Global/Local media alignment

Develop and maintain solid relationships with the MUs and regional hubs to ensure global/local media alignment.

Support the Regional Heads of Media in developing solid annual media plans with a full funnel approach and in line with the central media strategy and individual channel roles.

Test & Learn and Capabilities

Drive the group’s media Test & Learn agenda, in coordination with the media agency, as per Nomad Foods’ business priorities.

Be responsible for identifying media capabilities gaps and suitable solutions, in close collaboration with the Marketing Effectiveness team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  • Experience in media planning in either client or agency aside, with a strong background in digital media.
  • Proven ability to implement successful media strategies.
  • FMCG / CPG experience
  • Previous experience managing relationships with media agencies and multiple markets.
  • Experience in managing media budgets over €20 million.
  • Experience in leading media strategy and planning for global brands
