CAD Sales Engineer

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring design compliance with industry regulations while working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.

• Create detailed CAD designs for vehicle bodies to support the sales quoting process.
• Utilise engineering drawings to build a parts and materials list to enhance quoting accuracy.
• Develop engineering drawings and technical specifications for production, ensuring minimal manufacturing downtime.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand design requirements and constraints.
• Ensure all designs meet industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Work closely with production teams to optimise manufacturability and efficiency.
• Assist in product development and innovation for improved vehicle body designs.
• Conduct design reviews, stress analysis, and material selection assessments.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and revision control.
