HR Admin Support

Purpose of Job Principal Accountabilities
&bull Main point of contact for all enquiries into the HR team from current former and prospective employees Arriva Group other Train Operating Companies (TOCs) and stakeholders within the rail industry&bull Assisting in the Input of staff changes for new entrants promotions leavers transfers address changes and any other adhoc changes regarding employees
&bull Assisting in the production of management reports including 4-weekly Resource Data Exec report Quadrants attendance statistical information ATOC listings provide basic administrative support to the Senior HR team respond to industry surveys and enquiries other ad-hoc reports
&bull Responsible for production of all reference requests
&bull Responsible for the probation process
&bull Responsible for Employee Reward Recognition arranging employees vouchers or gifts etc
&bull Room bookings in Multistory and externally as required
&bull Arrange purchase orders for the HR team through ORACLE purchasing system including name badges hotel bookings for new starters and other HR orders
&bull Responsible for the up keep of the Companys personal files
&bull Typing minutes and letters to support the HR team
&bull Responsible for issuing all medical letters Arranging any travel to and from appointments i e Taxi Trains
&bull Liaising with the resources team to arrange release for appointments
&bull Record periodic results on ACMS system and ensure correct expiry dates are recorded to facilitate reports on future periodics due
&bull Issue Eyecare and Spectacle vouchers
&bull Responsible for maintaining accurate medical trackers and data
&bull Assist with monitoring the Medicals inbox
&bull Any other duties required which are appropriate to the post
Experience Knowledge Qualifications Training
Essential&bull Ability to communicate with all levels
&bull Computer literate (Word Excel Access etc)
&bull Experience of Human Resource systems
&bull Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
&bull Excellent telephone manner
&bull Excellent Communication Skills
