An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our Art team. We are keen to receive applications from:
- ECTs or newly qualified teachers
- Experienced teachers who wish to broaden their experience and skills at a successful Alternative Provision/Independant School
We welcome applicants who wish to:
- Teach Art up to key stage 4
- Teach across all key stages (key stages 3 and 4)
- Teach PSHE to KS3 and KS4 (1 hour per year group a week)
We teach the AQA Art specification and Jigsaw PSHE
The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge and be passionate about sharing their love of Art with our young people.
You will be joining a team of staff who firmly believe that there are no limits to what our young people can achieve.
Lancashire Alternative Provision is a dynamic 11-15 school supporting children who need an alternative approach to education. The school comprises of up to 70 students. Although we are proud of the achievement of our students, we are not complacent about the challenges that lie ahead and are constantly seeking ways to further improve the quality of our offering to our young people because we know the transformative impact that a good quality education can have on their life chances.
