We are seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary English Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic team in a well-resourced, high-achieving school in West Sussex. Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach English across Key Stage 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum.
• Prepare students for their GCSE exams.
• Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and participate in enrichment activities.
• Maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Engage with the wider school community and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A relevant degree and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• QTS status and experience of teaching English in a UK secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Flexibility to support across the subject and be an active member of the wider school community.
