Your Role
As the Mechanical Maintenance Operations Manager, you'll be at the core of the business, ensuring excellence in service delivery and fostering growth. Partnering with the current leadership team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future by refining processes, enhancing team performance, and identifying opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
♂️ What You'll Be Doing- Inspiring and leading the team.
- Guide and mentor, a skilled team of mechanical engineers to achieve their best.
- Oversee task allocation, monitor progress, and provide expert advice.
- Create and refine efficient workflow using advanced tools and systems.
- Uphold strict standards for safety, quality, and service delivery.
- Track performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to explore growth opportunities and expand current client services.
- Align mechanical operations with water hygiene offerings to enhance value.
- Contribute to long-term plans and operational strategies.
- Overseeing mechanical service projects to successful, on-time, and on-budget completion.
- Manage resource allocation to meet client and business objectives.
- Develop trusted relationships with clients to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
- Handle escalations and resolve service challenges with confidence.
- A solid background working in a busy FM/ mechanical services environment.
- Experience in leading a team of M&E Maintenance Engineers.
- Proven experience in operational management and process optimisation.
- Exceptional leadership skills, including managing remote and field teams.
- Proficiency in using KPIs to measure success and identify growth areas.
- You will have experience as a Mechanical Supervisor/ Mechanical Project Manager / Mechanical Maintenance Manager/ FM Operations Manager.
- A track record in mechanical project management and delivering successful outcomes.
- Knowledge of water hygiene or cross-functional operations would be advantageous.
- Experience in a fast-paced, small-to-mid-sized business environment.
- Adaptable and resourceful, with a proactive mindset.
- Ambitious and committed to making a significant impact.
- A natural problem-solver with a focus on solutions.
- Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 (negotiable) depending on level of experience.
