Assistant Management Accountant

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Process and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
• Assist in variance analysis and reporting to management.
• Prepare and review bank sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for internal and external use.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by the finance team.

• Part-Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a similar management accounting or assistant accountant role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good working knowledge of accounting software (i.e. Sage, Xero, or similar).
• Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, tec)
• Excellent attention to detail within the ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
