An excellent opportunity has arisen to work with the Oxford Radiology Research Unit (ORRU) within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust as a Research Administrator. We are looking for two enthusiastic administrators to coordinate research activities within our organisation that have a radiology component.

This includes facilitating collaboration between departments and ensuring a quality service is provided to support over 300 research studies that use Radiology's services.

ORRU has a vital role in leading and facilitating clinical and scientific research and development in all aspects of cross-sectional imaging. We ensure quality and provision of clinical trial services is in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines.

The Research Administrator is a critical role that will be based at the Churchill Hospital. You will be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills and must be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork, resilience and a real ‘can do’ attitude.

There are 2 posts available, and you will work alongside a colleague to collaborate and manage the workload together.

The role is advertised at 22.5 hrs, which could be worked as 7.5 hrs x 5 days, 4.5 hrs x 3 days, or other options can be discussed to fit around your current work life or home life commitments (minimum 3 days).

You will coordinate the set-up of all research studies within the Trust with an imaging component that require the services of Radiology. You will be well supported in a friendly team of administrators, practitioners, nurses and clinicians within the Oxford Radiology Research Unit.

Youdonotneed tobe familiar with researchlanguage ormethodologies asthiswillform part of the induction toyour role. We are keen to find two administrators with exception administrative capabilities and understand that research may not be an area you have considered before.

You willbe the main point of contact for research services offered by the Radiology Research Unit, and you willplay a key role in delivering high quality supportto researchers and service users to guide the department in its prioritisation of tasks.

You will have strongcoordinationskills and excellent interpersonal skills to collaboratewith differentdepartments. Forming good working relationships is integral to the role.

You will beorganised and methodical, able to prioritise and work well under pressure, with a positiveapproach. You will have the ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential informationappropriately, applying accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
