Salary: UofG Grade 4, £23,581 – £26,038 per annum, plus weekend shift allowance.
This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and open-ended. Shifts are normally Monday to Friday however you will be required to work 1 weekend in 3 (3 hours on a Saturday and 3 hours on a Sunday) paid at the relevant enhanced rate). Your rota will be confirmed to you by your line manager.Your line manager will engage with you on an annual basis and will confirm your rota for the next calendar year in October of each year.
The successful applicant will be subject to security checks by Agenda Screening Services.

This is a great opportunity for an Animal Technician to join the University’s Estates Directorate.
In this role you will provide high quality animal care and husbandry duties to ensure all animal needs are met and excellent standards of cleanliness within Biological Services facilities are maintained. Undertake routine data recording and provide routine technical assistance to research staff when required.
