An "Outstanding" All-Through School in the Borough of Redbridge are on the hunt for a Head of Art (Art Teacher) for a Janaury 2025 start. This is a full-time, and permanent position.
What will the role of Head of Art (Art Teacher) entail?- Raising attainment & the quality of learning across KS3-5
- Once confidence within Secondary you'll then lead Art across the Primary Phase
- Working with a new team of Art Teachers to increase the quality of Art across the School
- Delivering engaging lessons to avoid behavior issues!
- Head Teacher is a natural leader, works with staff, not against them.
- Feeder School for two high achieving Sixth Forms
- KS3-5
- Moving away from the standard "death by PP" (Good questioning & modelling is a must)
- Abundance of additional support for pupils (to benefit staff)

The Head Teacher is keen to find an Art Teacher / Art enthusiast who can take the schools Art curriculum & department to the next level. You'll be given full support from SLT while the freedom to make changes where needed.

- Must have high standards for yourself & colleagues
- Willingness to lead from the front
- Must have UK QTS
- Graded "Outstanding" or "Good" in recent lesson observations
- "Outstanding" Ofsted Graded School
