Are you a passionate, qualified Nursery Nurse who genuinely loves helping young children thrive? We’re working with a number of well-established nurseries across the Wakefield area who are looking to welcome experienced practitioners into their teams on a full-time basis.

If you’re confident in your practice, knowledgeable in early years development and ready to step into a rewarding role as soon as possible, we want to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll be working within welcoming, well-resourced nursery settings, supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework. Roles are available across different age groups, offering variety while maintaining consistency and stability in your working week.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
  • Supporting children’s emotional, social and physical development
  • Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities
  • Working closely with colleagues and parents/carers
  • Maintaining high safeguarding and care standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, applicants must have:

  • Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Valid Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, reliable and professional approach
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
