📍 Location: Remote with travel across South Yorkshire
💰 Salary: £35,000, increasing to £37,000 after probation

📅 Holidays: 24 days + bank holidays

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver Level 3 Safeguarding Apprenticeships for learners working in Residential Child Care. You’ll provide remote coaching and training, with on-site observations as required. Your role will be crucial in supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress in their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Level 3 Safeguarding Apprenticeship training to learners in residential child care settings.
  • Provide personalised coaching and mentoring, ensuring learners stay on track.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews, offering support and guidance.
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality remote training sessions.
  • Support functional skills development when necessary.
  • Collaborate with employers and key stakeholders to ensure learner success.
  • Maintain compliance and quality standards set by awarding bodies.
Requirements
✔ Minimum 3 years' experience in a residential children’s care setting (essential).
✔ Strong knowledge and practical experience in safeguarding.
✔ Level 3 Safeguarding qualification (or higher).
✔ Teaching qualification preferred (e.g., PTTLS, Award in Education and Training, PGCE), but training will be provided.
✔ GCSE Maths & English (C or above) / Functional Skills Level 2.
✔ Understanding of government-funded training programmes and apprenticeships.
✔ Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.

✔ Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
