Spending time in the field with the Drivers and implementing roadside coaching development and security checks.
Developing and maintaining a strong customer service and safety culture.
Supervisory management of driver personnel, including induction, training and development of staff, co-ordination of driver assessments/ride a longs and observations.
Provide positive leadership and encourage open communication amongst Drivers.
Solid understanding of logistics, routing and scheduling.
Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions.
Strong leadership and team management skill.

This driving-based role includes responsibilities for supervising the team of drivers at our Park royal branch. You’ll be approachable and supportive, encouraging open communication between drivers whilst supporting with inductions, development and training of new team members.
Working: 8-10 hrs per day /Mon – Fri / 8am – 7pm
Job Activities:
Ensuring daily work scheduled for drivers are prepared and distributed.Spending time in the field with the Drivers and implementing roadside coaching development and security checks.
Developing and maintaining a strong customer service and safety culture.
Supervisory management of driver personnel, including induction, training and development of staff, co-ordination of driver assessments/ride a longs and observations.
Provide positive leadership and encourage open communication amongst Drivers.
Encourages strong cross-functional cooperation between all departments.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Class 2 CLASS 1 driver desirableSolid understanding of logistics, routing and scheduling.
Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions.
Strong leadership and team management skill.
Good interpersonal skills - able to lead and motivate others by skill and example.
