The opportunity:
Due to a period of sustained business growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Production Warehouse Manager who will contribute to to oversee our production operations with a small team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing efficiency.
Location & Hours:
The role is permanent and based out of our beautiful HQ in Henham (CM22 6AA), enjoying a rural location, where lunch is provided onsite daily and ample parking. Working hours are 42.5 hours per week on site.
Key deliverables:
- Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes.
- Ensure products are produced on time and meet quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed.
- Manage and lead production staff, providing training and support.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of production or warehouse management software and tools.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate our core values along with the drive to support our business goals and outstanding customer satisfaction
- Must have proven management experience in warehousing or production and being a competent ERP/WMS system user
