Paralegal - IP & Commercial

We are looking for a detail-oriented paralegal with experience in intellectual property, commercial contracts, and legal operations.

You will be joining a technology solutions company on a 9–12 month contract and play a key role in supporting their dynamic in-house legal team.

London, hybrid working

The Role:

As a skilled Paralegal you will support a busy legal department across a broad range of matters. You’ll be involved in:

• Intellectual Property (IP) support, commercial contract review and assistance, BAU legal queries and departmental legal operations, including managing the Legal Tracker system and other tech-enabled tools
• Administer internal IP processes such as the Patent Reward Plan and document signature workflows (e.g., POAs, Statements of Use)
• Draft, review, and assist in negotiating IP licences, NDAs, and other straightforward IP or commercial agreements
• Conduct trademark clearance searches, track renewal deadlines, gather evidence of use, and coordinate with internal teams and external providers
• You’ll work closely with legal and cross-functional teams, providing essential legal and administrative support to help keep the legal function running smoothly.

Ideal candidate:

• Paralegal experience within a commercial and IP-focused environment
• in-house experience is highly desirable
• Confident using legal tech systems (Legal Tracker experience a plus)
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Collaborative mindset with great attention to detail
• Available to start on short notice
