Site Manager – Biomedical Research Operations (UK-Based)

What You’ll Do:
- Take full responsibility for the daily operations and overall performance of a specialised animal research facility.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to implement strategic goals, optimise resources, and ensure the highest standards of compliance.
- Oversee all aspects of site coordination—from regulatory adherence and animal welfare to budget management and staffing.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency while upholding industry-leading quality, AAALAC accreditation, and ISO9001:2015 certification.
- Provide vital reporting and insights on site performance to the senior executive team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing operations in a similar sector—biomedical, research, or life sciences preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., ASPA 1986), and a proven ability to navigate compliance with Home Office and HSE standards.
- Exceptional leadership, organisational and communication skills with a hands-on, people-first management approach.
- Proficiency in financial oversight, data analysis, and project delivery.
- A passion for innovation, excellence, and animal welfare.
- A degree in business administration, life sciences, or a related field (not essential if you’ve got the experience).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across regulatory, finance, procurement, and production.
