About Our Client

Our client is a large organisation within the property and housing industry that is known for creating a supportive work environment. They maintain a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services and pride themselves on their commitment to excellence.
They are currently looking for a Receptionist/ Administrator to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months (potential to be much more longer term and successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply internally for other vacancies).

They are looking for someone to be based in Norwich full time Monday to Friday, with excellent administration skills and a welcoming manager.

Job Description
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a welcoming and professional service.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls and email correspondence efficiently.
  • Perform various administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, filing, and data entry.
  • Maintain the reception area to a high standard of organisation and cleanliness.
  • Support the Secretarial & Business Support, and Sales department with ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Co-ordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are properly equipped including refreshments
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and other documents as needed.
  • Manage post and courier services for the company.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Receptionist/ Administrator' should have:

  • A strong educational background with good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable experience within Receptionist/ Administration
  • An ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • A professional and friendly demeanour.
  • Live locally to Norwich, able to start immediately
