Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced, driven SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Pupil Referal Unit (PRU) based in Cardiff.
This inclusive school aims to aid all students with the skills and attributes to prepare them for future success. Many of the students come from vulnerable backgrounds or have not succeeded in mainstream environments.
A successful applicant must:- Have experience working with vulnerable young people with SEMH needs and/or SEND
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be confident working with young people with extremely challenging behaviours
- Be motivated and passionate about helping vulnerable students achieve their best
- Be offered a competitive pay rate
- Receive weekly pay (PAYE)
- Have access to an online portal and many CPD courses
- Have fantastic in-house training
- Have a dedicated consultant to support you in your journey
- Be able to work full-time (term-time)
- Be able to provide contact details for recent references
- Have 2 proofs of address
- Have the right to work in the UK or have an EU/UK passport
- Have a valid Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service (we can help with this)
