We’re working with a well-established MSP in London looking for an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of their internal IT operations and play a key leadership role across client project delivery and technical strategy. This is a hands-on management role for someone who can balance team leadership, process improvement, and technical decision-making.

You’ll be joining a collaborative business that prides itself on delivering high-quality service to a diverse client base, with a strong focus on innovation and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high performance, motivation, and professional growth
• Oversee internal IT infrastructure and ensure the business is secure, scalable, and compliant
• Support and manage client projects - including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and technical oversight
• Implement and manage IT policies, procedures, and best practices across the business
• Take ownership of escalated technical issues, acting as a final escalation point where needed
• Work closely with directors and senior stakeholders to shape technical strategy and contribute to business growth
• Ensure high standards of documentation, service delivery, and security across all platforms and processes
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend new technologies to improve operations and efficiency

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong technical background, working in an MSP or consultancy setting
• Proven leadership skills - mentoring, managing teams, and creating a positive, high-performing culture
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, and modern workplace tech
• Comfortable managing cloud infrastructure, backup & DR solutions, and security policies
• Familiarity with ITIL, ISO27001, and general information security frameworks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with strong planning, budgeting, and reporting experience
