Vehicle Mechanic

1. 5pm Mon – Fri

Role Purpose: Diagnose, service, and repair commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test vehicle status.
• Strip, replace, and repair units per work instructions.
• Assess components for fitness.
• Build and test products as per manufacturer instructions.
• Report faults to the Workshop Supervisor.

General Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work outside core hours occasionally.
• Travel to other Exsel sites and overseas as needed.
• Must meet UK government security vetting criteria.

Health & Safety:

• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Use appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Report any health and safety issues promptly.

Competencies & Skills:

• Valid driving licence.
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics.
