The Ruth Gorse Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Lead Practitioner for ICT, Computer Science & Digital Literacy. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy - the successful applicant will be expected to lead and develop the ICT & Computer Science department, improving the outcomes for students.The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to achieve their potential in this exciting and rapidly evolving subject. The successful applicant will also support and enhance the use of digital technology across the academy to strengthen teaching and communication.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Good honours degree in directly related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Very good classroom practitioner with the propensity to become outstanding.
