NHS - Experienced Medical Receptionist
Ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently handled in a warm and friendly manner. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Representing the Practice in a professional way at all times. Understanding the importance of patient confidentiality. Job responsibilities: Reception Process appointment requests from patients by telephone, in person & online. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone Deal with home visit requests ensuring they are entered on computer with the patient records Using the practice online booking system -ACCURX.
This will include but not limited to, booking in patients as advised by the Duty Doctor, assist in all queries related to the online triage, submitting requests on behalf of patients where necessary & completing triage requests in a timely manner.Administration To assist with all practice based reception admin tasks as directed To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures. To work in accordance with practice policies/protocols and processes Any other tasks allocated by managers Other Tasks Clear and stock rooms after surgeries Any other tasks allocated by managers Monitoring the practice emails Monitoring Accurx triage system Ensuring all daily tasks are up to date and complete Working hours for this role are between 7am -7pm Monday - Friday, working hours will be discussed during interview.
