Job Description:
An English Tutor is required to provide high-quality educational support to students in South East England, specifically in Berkshire, Reading. The role is temporary and expected to be part-time, with the hourly rate ranging from £20 to £30.
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement educational activities to enhance students' language skills
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure inclusive learning
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in English Language or Education
- Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching English
Education:
A degree in English Language, Education, or a related field
Experience:
Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English, especially to students with diverse learning needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of English grammar, literature, and language acquisition
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
The English Tutor will work in a classroom or one-on-one setting, providing support to students during scheduled hours. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate students' needs.
